Dear readers!

We currently have 3 projectors under review at projectiondream.com!

The Optoma HD33 that was a revolution 3 years ago, as it was the first Full HD 3D projector with frame interpolation under 1500€. How will it do in comparison to todays projectors?

Optoma HD33 before the test

The Benq W1070, a Full HD 3D projector without frame interpolation but with a small vertical lens shift, has set a new level of performance for projectors under 1000€. Today it is sold for less than 700€.

And in the price class of 3000€: The Epson EH-TW9200W which until last month was Epson’s flagship (now the new laser projector EH-LS10000 has taken the crown with a price of 6990€).

  1. Hi! Great reviews! Did you ever make this comparison? I cannot find it on your site. I am about to upgrade from an Optoma HD33, probably to the Epson 9300W, and it would be interesting to understand how much of an improvement I could expect… Hopefully a huge improvement.
    Thanks,
    Joakim

    • Hi Joakim,
glad you like our reviews! Thank you for that! -)
In the end, we did not measure the Optoma HD33 because we sold it before we could. 🙂

However the reviews for the Benq W1070 and Epson TW9200 are online. As well as ur latest reviews battle Epson TW9300 vs TW7300 vs LS10000.

In any case, even in a white living room, changing from the Optoma HD33 to the Epson EH-TW9300 will be a great quality increase!
If you have a Batcave, then the chnage will be like day and night.

      Anna&Flo 😉
